Santa At The Strand 2026

Welcome

Santa is at the The Strand in Lismore over 4 days from 26th November to 29th November 2026! He is travelling all the way from the North Pole and is looking forward to visiting the ancient woodland at The Strand which will be transformed into a magical Christmas paradise during his stay. Mrs Claus and the Elves are ready to entertain the boys and girls as they arrive to visit Santa in his woodland home, with Rudolph the Reindeer on standby!

Santa at the Strand is run by volunteers from the TWC Community Group. Now in its sixth year of operation, the event is run by a West Waterford team who want to bring light and joy to the next generation in the same beautiful woodlands they enjoyed themselves as children.

As I Am Hour

As part of our Santa event, we operate an As I Am Hour from 10.45am to 11.45am on Saturday 28th November and Sunday 29th November. Please remember to let us know of any special requirements during the booking process. The As I Am timeslots are clearly shown on the Santa booking options for Saturday and Sunday.

Santa Paws 🐾

Santa Paws is also keen to meet all your animal friends on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November from 10am. He is travelling all the way from the North Pole and is looking forward to visiting The Strand which will be transformed into a magical Christmas paradise during his stay!

Access to Santa Paws at the Strand will be on foot from Lismore or you can park nearby the site at Ballyrafter. Entrance will be at the Santa at the Strand booking hut, which is the main entrance to the Santa at the Strand site. There will be no buses running to the Santa Paws event from Lismore.

Pictures can be taken with Santa with your own camera or you can choose to have a photo taken by a professional photographer who will also be present. There is no cap on the number of pets coming with you to visit Santa but they must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are free of charge.

Just to note, Lismore is a 10 minute walk from the Strand and we recommend that you park there and walk to the Strand if possible. If you want to continue walking after the Santa Paws visit, then why not try out Lady Louisa's Walk, an additional 2km around Lismore, or follow St Declan's Way along the River Blackwater to the Round Hill, returning back to Lismore on the 4km Round Hill loop walk. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times on these trails.

Walk-Ins

If you wish to purchase only Adult tickets (for example, you are joining a family with tickets already booked), please choose the Walk Ins option in the Menu to the top or right of your screen.
